Importing the beaver into FSX....

Is this possible..Tried but got a error message when loading the aircraft.Anyone...Cosmo

I think MS wants to ensure us purchasing FSX. After all, they've obviously put a lot of work into the new default aircraft. :-) Cheers,Todd

The new textures are in dds format. Perhaps if they were converted to the FS9 format....and then a new aircraft.cfg file written it might work. But what's the point? I thought there were already some nice beavers available in FS9?

What Beaver model specifically are you trying to use? And what error message did you get?Some of the really old freeware ones (for FS2k2) are FSDSv1 models which will not work, but the FSDSv2 Amphib Beaver by Steve Grant works in FSX Demo. (The panel is another story. FS98 style gauges will not work in FSX.)"Let me help you out. You're cleared to taxi any way you can to any runway you see."
