Real traffic not starting after windows update

Recommended Posts

Hi Niko,

Hope you can help me finding a solution. After the windows 10 automatic updates, I can’t start Real Traffic anymore. I click on the program, even run as admin, but nothing happens. Real traffic doesn’t open. Tried updating again antivirus exclusions, reinstalling the program but with no success. How can I fix?

cheers

Try this:

Delete C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Roaming\InsideSystems\RealTraffic.ini

Hi Nico,

Again I ask your help because everything is set up and green but with latest version I can see only parked aircrafts, no live aircrafts even if Real Traffic is detecting live planes normally. I attach the log if can give help to solve the problem.

Thanks for your help

FAQ:

Everything is connected but no live aircraft?
There could be something wrong with the RealTraffic installation. Exit RealTraffic, delete the file C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\InsideSystems\RealTraffic.ini and re-start RealTraffic.
Another thing that might help is to fill in the IP-address of the PC running RealTraffic instead of localhost or to re-type localhost and push the SAVE button.

Unfortunately no of the suggested method worked. Any possibility that version 13.0 has some issues with FSX?

That's not very likely. There is no diference wrt FSX between 12.20 and 13.0.

It looks a RealTraffic issue to me. Try a clean/full re-install of RealTraffic.

Unfortunately - after disinstalling deleted everything related to Real Traffif and tried with normal and standalone version - still no success.

Thank you very much for your patience and continuos help as I know it’s really difficult finding a solution being distant from the failed pc 🙂

cheers
