To keep this post short. Is there anyway to make the Saitek throttle quadrant work without the saitek flight yoke?

I have the old style throttle with the old connector and will be moving to the Yoko yoke in a couple of weeks, since Virtual Flys throttle is also very expensive, I would like to use the Saitek throttle with Yoko until I can scrape up enough funds to get the VF throttle.

You can leave the Saitek yoke plugged in but out of sight, then use the throttle quad as normal. This won't interfere with your Yoko yoke. More radically, extract the controller board from the Saitek yoke and throw the rest away. There is no way to use the quadrant on its own because unlike the USB quad it has no controller board inside.

That is a fine idea! Thank you for the suggestion.

Wouldn't a PS2 to USB adapter work?

Not if the controller board for that quadrant is in the separate yoke and not in the quadrant itself!

I found a NIB USB model Saitek Quadrant last year to keep as a backup.  But not at all ready to part with it yet.  The Honeycomb products are a year behind schedule and f-a--d---i-----n------g........
