Free Boeing 747 Complete HD Rework for Prepar3D v4

Recommended Posts

Hello simmers!
It's time for my 747 rework to be shared!
It is a complete high definition rework of the Boeing 747 from FSX, ported to Prepar3D v4.3 (might work on other v4.x versions, not tested).
Uses dynamic lights (switch the option ON in Prepar3D menu).
All credits and references are included in the readme files, in the zip file.
This thread is intendended to be a feedback and support thread.
Some features:

  • 4K external and virtual cockpit high definition textures
  • TrueGlass© rain drops effects from TFDi Design© (licensed from them) and animated wipers
  • Milviz© WX Advantage Radar© implementation (not included, you must own the product)
  • Amazing engines soundkit by Benoit Plamondon (check his YouTube Channel)
  • Added new cockpit sound effects
  • Impressive lighting effects and smooth day/night transitions
  • New and fixed flight instruments and VC integrated FMC
  • Hundreds of visual and programming fixes and improvements...

Whose 747 might that be, because there are EULA restrictions with a particular 747, I think, but may be totally off the beam?

EULA?... There are something like millions files around the internet (and here) distributing the POsky 747...

I specified all the credits in the files.

Or maybe i missed what you mean.

That's perfectly alright. No issues. And no, you did not miss what I was alluding to as your explanation of which 747 it is, is spot-on. Thanks.

Update: unfortunately i had to remove Benoit Plamondon's soundset because of my fault: the soundset was for the Pratt & Whitney engines.

Very pity that this work is discontinued for a while or forever, especially because it was online only for a few days. I understand when someone has private reasons to not spend time anymore in developing a project like this without being paid, but why do you not at least leave the latest version available for download?

If I hazard to guess - only one single thankyou and then straight into a EULA discussion-  I probably would have pulled it as well if it were me.
