... has just been released to all stores.

Bob,

If you didn't do so, try uninstalling the 'old' Falcon50 install before installing the new one. I did this and don't hear any strange warning sounds.

What are others hearing, or not hearing, with Falcon 50 v1.6?

V1.6, light loading, hard surface airport.  Idle throttle is way too  much as taxi speed will surpass 50 kts.  I have to constantly ride the brakes.  V1.5b was fast in idle, but slower than V1.6.

Was flying OK in v1.4 but having installed v1.6 -plane refuses to install

Going back to v 1.4 was also a no go

Dissapointing as was a fun fly in v1.4

I am using P3Dv 4.4

A update for Learjet35A at the same time went fine

Cause?

Anything  I could try?

You said it “refuses to install”. Do you get an error message when you try to run the installer? Perhaps your download was corrupted. Might want to try downloading it again.

Installs -to point of showing cockpit but dials are blank - then freezes and P3D crashes

I wonder if going to P3D v4.4 upset the plane

I suggest you make sure you uninstall the previous version, and then go check where the Falcon50 folder was and make sure nothing was left over after the uninstall. Then re-download ver 1.6 again (in case you had a corrupt installer) and try reinstalling again.

Do you have the Milviz/Rex weather radar? If so, it needs to be updated to the newest version for P3D 4.4, or any aircraft that references the weather gauge will cause the sim to CTD on loading the aircraft.

If you do not have the radar add-on, then your crash is being caused by something else.

Have the MV Radar and the updated version for P3Dv 4.4

The plane installs and functions in FSX with MV Radar and 2 GTN 750,s

Some Addon clash?

Because if you updated P3D or updated the radar or installed the F50 with any of the programs open or sometimes files in use then it requires a restart.

Because if a file is in use the installer or update will still work but will have to wait to overwrite those files.
