Vertical Profile Questions

Hello

Trying to figure out why descent profile on PFD look so low. This is not the firs time I am seeing this. I did not make any changes in LEG page, all constrains were shown correctly. 

In this image I am about to turn final but I am shown like I am 18000 ft below profile, however actual altitude on PFD was shown correct in accordance with approach plate. 

When I was established on the ILS I was caught up on profile withing seconds.

Something strange with that flightplan. look at TN595 (5000A) and afterwards TN551 (FL220A)

I think i recall the magenta diamond on your right side shows you that you are above the profile. It works simular to the profile for an ILS as i recall from top of my head.

During VNAV descend the aim is to have that diamond close to the middle marker

The profile was OK till about 30-40nm before final. Maybe that FL220 and 5000' difference is causing it. Few days ago I was landing in EDDM and I had the same issue. In that case all alts were shown correct.

The FL220A is not looking correct, never seen such an altitude constrain in the final approach segement. It does not make sense to have 5000A and then FL220A

 

 

What airport/procedure is this?

EETN via KEMET1L for 26. 

I looked at plates again and I do not see 5000' either. But like I said I did not make any changes in the LEG page. I will try to fly that approach again to double check.

There is restriction there but for 2200A feet not for FL220. Also the 5000A exists in the plates

 

Checked also the latest Airac and is correctly shown there

Yes I found it too. I must have overlooked it. Indeed it is shown 2200 and not FL220. Don’t know why FL220 was loaded in LEG page. AIRAC is current. I will try to do that approach again.

Just landed in LOWI. I noticed altitude was a bit out of order:

RTT 9500A, INTC FL114 and then back to 9500' over CL26. Why INTC is now showing 9500 as well?

Because these constrains are At or Above not hard ones. You need to pass RTT and CL26 at or above 9500. On the intersection point you will be at  FL114 which is above the 9500
