PTA presets fixing blurries?

What I have recently noticed is that certain PTA presets has fixed the blurries that P3D is plagued with, at least on my system. Is that possible?

Maybe the preset in question changes some of the P3D graphics settings (FXAA for example can induce some blurries)?
