Aerosoft CRJ Altitude Conflict

Recommended Posts

Hello, im using LINDA with Spad old/next for PMDG. It worked without any conflict in saitek multi panel. But, when i used it for Aerosoft CRJ. I tried turn the knob to change the altitude, but between exact alttiude number theres other number show up it starts with 3xxx. Changing the altitude it is also change the other number too. I found this when only using LINDA and Spad.next on Aerosoft CRJ.

Hi

LINDA's implementation for the Saitek panels relies on add-on aircraft using the default FSX offsets. The Aerosoft CRJ700/900 do not follow this standard. This is the reason for your reported problems. It is also not recommended to have 2 different software controlling the same hardware. This leads to unpredictable results.

As you are using SpadNext (with I do not have), I recommend you disable LINDA control of the Saitek Multi (and radio) panel(s). In Setup LINDA, untick Saitek Panels and in Setup Joystick disable the Multi Panel. This will leave all control with SpadNext and remove any conflict.

What do you mean by LINDA autostart? Whenever you start load a new aircraft, LINDA will restart to 'sync' with that aircraft.

The only way to stop LINDA starting with you flight sim is to edit FSUIPCx.ini and remove the entry in [PROGRAMS] block and to remove/rename Linda.lua in the /modules folder. Essentially you need to uninstall LINDA.
