Missing UTL airline

... is there a way to pull a list of generic aircraft from UTL?

After a closer look I realized that UTL itself generates a file called generic_repaints.txt which includes exactly what we want. This is new to me and I wasn't aware. Maybe it comes with the latest W2019 update. You can find this file in the UTL main folder.

You should also take a look at the newest version of UTL_FP, which also allows you to see a list of all Deadalus assignments.

I believe that is exactly this file (generic_repaints.txt ) which is now in the UTL main folder. It seems that it updates automatically when you change a/c livery assignments.

For background on fleet changes,  google the airlines wiki they have a wealth of info that can be useful in determining what 787-900 is replacing or was that airline a different name... etc

Indeed it updates every time when you start Prepar3D and you do load a flight. You can see it at the time stamp of the generic_repaints.txt file. It is awesome to have this information. I already assigned about 20 a/c liveries from Swiss, Air France and some others which I was not aware of that they were missing.

I don't have a generic_repaints.txt file in my utLive folder (or anywhere else for that matter). Does anyone have an idea how to generate it?

Do you have the latest version (V 1.2.0.0 which includes W2018 flight plans)?

I do. I confirmed earlier today that I was on 1.2.

Then maybe you need to activate generic repaints to be displayed by UTL/P3D. This can be done by modifying the ui_settings.xml in the UTL main folder. Check for  <useGenericPaints>true</useGenericPaints> at the end of the file.

Thanks Nemo! I'll give that a shot as soon as I land.

That did the trick, Nemo! Thanks again.

Ah, so then the trick of UTL_FP is probably that it can show the Daedalus paints without needing to enable their visibility in the UI. Because I was able to see them in UTL_FP that way...
