Passing over LEIB

Good Morning David. First, my sincere apologies for calling you Dave. Typos error, I assure you.

Right, need to pick your brain, please. Last night, in a WizzAir A320 and then later a A319, had not a single problem not long after take-off and moving throttle to the CL detente, engaging AP1.

This morning, in a Swissair livery A320, had such a problem getting AP1 to stay on, Master Warnings klaxon going off, etc that I had to hand fly before I could engage AP1 on. Any ideas what is going on. Do I have to set the Controls in Options page 3 each time I fly a new livery?
