If you want to bulk activity level for AIG...what is the format to insert in the box once you point to the traffic folders. Have read the documentation and still can't get the info in the box right.

Is it "1-20" or <1-100> or what keeps asking over and over and over :)

Thank you,

Bob M.

You need to set in p3dv4 your Traffic Slider to 100%.....if and when I figure out the bulk thingy..great but if you want to do one traffic bgl...set the activity level 1-100..recommended by AIG. save and compile it and you should be good to go. Before you compile..look at the screen and make sure the 1% is changed and varying from 1-100...It will say 83 on 1; 15 on another and 75 on another and so on Look in the 4th column from the left in Flight Plan list!!..then compile it.

May I add two suggestions.

First, only modify the bigger airlines (Delta, Lufthansa, China Airlines , ... ) and keep the medium/smaller airlines as they are (1%). This will reduce traffic depending on the activity level set in P3d without loss of diversity.

Second, when you change activity levels range via AIFP, use the "maximize distribution across airports" option. This means that the most frequently used airports are being de-emphasized so traffic is more evenly distributed across the other airports.

Thanks Nemo..well taken, if you want to do bulk activity and you select the traffic files from AIG and the little box comes up

https://imgur.com/9ZiIsTE

what do you enter? like: "1-99".. Don (the developer) says it will only do 1-99 but will do 100 in the next release so what do I type in the box and I guess save it and compile and the box will come up about "maximize the distribution....)?

Ten I'll go back and tweak the individula airlines and special paints.

I've never seen this pop-up box. I usually open AIFP then "open traffic file from .bgl"  where I choose the traffic .bgl. which I want to modify from my ACI-OCI installations. When it is open I click on "Flight Plans" and choose "adjust activity".

Ok, I didn't want to change each bgl individually but bulk then back to 1%..then work on the Delta, American etc....guess I could delete the Traffic bgls and start over...lol

That sounds like a good idea. But I don't see that option. Is it only available if you do the BGLs individually, not "bulk"? If so, how does it ensure an even spread when only dealing with one airline? What stops it allowing more flights to/from, say, EGLL, instead of seeing the wider picture from multiple ailines? It couldn't tell which airports are the most frequently used overall, only for that one airline.

Some airports are used by only one or maybe two airlines. Ryanair, for instance, specialises in this -- Bergamo the "other Milan airport", the other Warsaw airport, the other Frankfurt airport. Reducing the Ryanair traffic at those would reduce traffic at those completely, not allow more variety.
