Let me attempt to bring a bit of levity back into the discussion by referencing our inside jokes:

  1. We use SoonTM as a joking reference to the inevitability of software having an issue that exposes another issue, causing timelines to slip.
  2. The Woodpigeon is a joking reference to throw people off of the trail of any secret projects, or to bring a joke into the occasionally all-too-serious "PMDG NEEDS TO MAKE X" threads.
  3. Pigeonworks is a joking reference to "secret project divisions" within a larger company, most notably Skunk Works within LM.
  4. The pogo stick / Segway is a joking reference to the common Easter Egg.

I'm finding it comical that someone used point 2 as an actual argument, unironically.

Here's something for a laugh:

Carry on...

That’s so funny!  Thanks for the good laugh!

You mean this?

I’m still getting used to the corrected ground effect myself. While I’m not leaving craters, my landings are definitely firm. I tend to flare about 3-4 degrees just before 30ft and smoothly reduce the throttle to idle just after 30ft. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I thought that the wings of the 747-400 and -8 both created a cushion effect, making both aircraft easy to grease. Of course a smooth landing is not in the criteria of a safe landing, but I can’t grease a landing even when I want to. Any tips?

Lucky you...

I‘m constantly surprized how quickly the ground raises 😂

Maybe not few enough yet. Perhaps a few more are still to pass.

Mr. Boeing always advocated positive landings. Bump or sometimes Thump, your down.

Any chance of the SATCOM that appears on the BA BOAC livery? 🙂

If you mean the specific Antenna option currently not I am afraid. It has been already requested from the development team to check if this can be added as another option
