Engine Sound Issues P3D v4

On several occasions after shutting the aircraft down, it sounds like the engine are still running.  Sometimes it even sounds like reverse thrust is still engaged even though all visual indications say that the engines are off.  The sound is very apparent when using external views.  I know the sounds aren't coming from AI traffic because the PMDG sound is very distinct and it isn't the APU because I've been leaving it off lately.   Any thoughts?

Check this topic, they give a solution for the issue.

It is also mentioned in this thread, somewhere on page 3...

 

If not:

Add to p3d .cfg file sound section:

[sound]
time_constant=0

Should fix your sound issues.

My first thought was to hit the Q key twice.  It's an simism that's been around as long as I can remember... some sounds get stuck on for whatever reason.

I had that issue too, only after v4.4 update.

"Q" was absolutely not helpfull 😉
