Yes, it's another weight question.

Recommended Posts

Does "max gross weight" in the aircraft.cfg of the 800WL mean "max take off" or "max ramp weight?"

Is the max weight in the FMC the "max ramp weight" or the "max take off weight?"

Maximum Take Off Weight MTOW (aka Brakes Release Weight BRW) will be the weight of the plane MINUS the taxi fuel.

If anything, Max Gross Weight (not a term typically used by Boeing) will be the Maximum Taxi Weight (aka Max Ramp Weight MRW), which will be the highest weight limit of all the limits.

The fmc doesn’t show any limits if I recall correctly. What it does show is gross wt, fuel weight and zero fuel.

The gross wt shown is simply the zfw you put in with fuel wt. the fmc should let you fill the plane to max taxi weight - whatever that is for the model and whatever PMDG set for their rendition of that model.

hope that helps in some way

True; however, the PMDG FS Actions screens used to set fuel and payload will show ZFW/MTOW and GW, which is current gross weight.  Of course, these screens are not in the real aircraft.
