Its a long time since I bought a video game! 🤣

Anyway many years ago I did enjoy games like Ghost Recon Advanced War fighter and before that Medal of Honor. It's pretty much exclusively been Flight Sim and racing Sims for many years. Since I got the Odyssey+ and just a week or so ago a 1080ti 😎 I was perusing Steam and it turned out to be Chinese New Year! I ended up paying CAD$45.99 for SkyrimVR. Now honestly, I think the graphics look a little hokey. I really don't think that video game graphics have come a long way since Ghost Recon. Anyway, once I figured out how to get the most out of the graphic with my 1080ti and setup the controllers to my liking and a play area with a decent sized boundary, I've gotten into it and its a lot of fun. The genera isn't really my cup of tea.  A kind of fantasy medieval pagan mysticism which is a little distasteful to my sensibilities. I would have prefered something like Ghost Recon Advanced War fighter in VR. But I have to say that the Samsung Odyssey+ (and 1080ti) performed spectacularly. Perfect head tracking and perfect controller tracking on near maxed out graphics setting and a constant 90fps. I have had the same experience in P3D except the frame rate. In P3D you can do 45fps or 30fps whichever is your preference with corresponding setting.

Although I have nothing to compare it with I have to say that I can find no fault with the Samsung Odyssey+. I think the only thing that any other headset I have read about has on it is the larger FOV of the PIMAX. After owning it for nearly 3 months I have to give it a huge thumbs up!😀

I have the same one and agree... great headset. There is a little bit of light leakage on my, but just ordered the foam replacement for it and it should be in this week. I've been on the fence on Skyrim, I played it many years ago when it came out but never finished it. I always found something else to focus on in the same other than the main quest. Seems like it might be worth it checking out. Honestly, I still love flying in VR...its been hard to get away from it.

Keep in mind, that there are a zillion graphics mods for Skyrim (reflecting the games popularity) many of which work just fine in VR if you have the urge to track them down and install them....

These range from simple character tweaks all the up to near total graphical makeovers of the game.

Here is a small example: https://venturebeat.com/2018/04/08/40-must-have-mods-for-the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-vr/
