Recommended G1000 and GTN650 for IFR Proficiency?

Recommended Posts

This is where for me a dual sim setup, (x-p11 and p3d v4) comes into its own.  XP11 has a good amount of g1000 a/c.  Singles light twins t-props and jets that work the way they're supposed to for the most part, and come equipped with the avionics out of the box.

Cool!  Thanks for all the good suggestions; I'll see what I can cobble together.  I'd really like an EFIS rather than steam gauges, since that's what I'm transitioning to.

Interesting to know the dual sim option is a possibility.

Update:

I've been flying the Alabeo Seminole with the Flight1 GTN Complete and G500/600 Complete.  I haven't confirmed every little feature is working (having only this morning discovered the esoteric technique--clicking left of the center knob, not on it--required to enter NAV frequency tuning mode), but am very happy with the setup so far.  The F1 G600 provides a huge improvement in realism compared to the stock EFIS.

... or use a middle (mouse wheel) click on the knob
