Can we have the balls back in the cockpit / P3D v4?

...... please bring the option of the eyepoint balls in the virtual cockpit as an fmc option!

I wonder why these so called 'eyepoint ball's are necessary when there are already perfectly acceptable sightline markers on the pilots side window frames?  I am also curious to know how they can be in the virtual cockpit as an fmc option?

If they are small versions of Lord Kelvin's balls then that would be a different matter, because they would be magnetic and used to correct the standby compass readings.  However, all of the 744's I am familiar with do not have them fitted externally to the compass like those in your picture.

Maybe we should ask PMDG to provide a furry dice and an automobile air freshener to hang from the compass mount as an option instead, because I think we would probably find them more useful!  LOL
