Recommended Posts

New and wondering if the weather in p3dv4 changes in flight? Meaning if i took off at a airport thats sunny is it possible to land at a airport thats snowing and has snow on the ground?

Thanks....

If you are using real weather like Active Sky, yes. Otherwise you are generally stuck with the theme you select.

Unfortunately seasonal ground textures are controlled externally from the weather system. So just because it's snowing somewhere doesn't necessarily mean you will see snowy grass. But if you have Activesky running with live conditions, if the airport METAR reports snow, you should see the precipitation.

Nothing special beyond making sure "live weather" is turned on in the Active Sky screen.
