Version1.1withfixes

Recommended Posts

I wanted to QUICKLY get back into forum to praise the team at ALABEO. THANKS. Glass rollout-fixed. Ammeter-fixed. Oil temp-fixed. Oil pressure-fixed. Suction-fixed. Carb Temp-fixed. I got this from a quick install and check of my own and not from any list that Alabeo might have provided. One thing I noticed is the LANDING LIGHT switch is turned on with a RIGHT click and all others are with the LEFT click. I did not see a taxi light switch but it does work. The way I know is I have all my lights assigned to the 9 switches on my Saitek TPM. That was a feat in itself but after a year I figured out how to turn on AND off using the switches. Also there is what appears a BLANK switch above the LANDING LIGHT switch. Not sure yet if it serves a purpose. The panel lights is the BLACK round switch to the lower right. The dome light is controlled from the ceiling with a separate RED and WHITE switch lights. My CABIN switch on my TPM turns on one and I have a PANEL light assigned also. Hmmm. well I hope this helps but as I say I downloaded-turned on fsx sp1 sp2. Selected C170B and did a 60 second check.

I always add a GNS or GTN or stock 296 to these aircraft with no GPS, and I add either a simple autopilot  2 axis like from my ANTS Eaglet or an autopilot from one of my Carenado aircraft. Example below with the Ants Eaglet. With this I find the P92Gauges folder and put it right into the PANEL folder. I hope this is legal as I DO NOT give it away and ONLY use it for myself. Oh yea I noticed I made a gps popup with the Milviz Transponder which I own all their GA aircraft, hoping again this is legal. I personally, with the Alabeo aircraft with no Autopilot, prefer a simple 2 axis which is probably more realistic as an RL addition add-on

Thanks for the update, troybilt! I will DL and check it out.

As for the landing light and taxi light, it is the same switch. One notch out is the taxi light, and a second notch out is the landing light. This is real world, as per the RW manual for the 170B. I have to admit, it threw me at first, too, but a detail Alabeo got right.

OK, just flew version 1.1 and it is much improved! But now a new issue and an old one still needs fixed.

New issue: In this version, now E (exit key) opens BOTH doors. Even clicking Pilot door on the animations manager opens BOTH doors. Click Co-Pilot Door and the Co-Pilot door opens.

Old issue: The fuel selector now works, but has only L & R or two off selections, should have a BOTH selection (per the manual, and see the placard in the sim).

I noticed this issue before but forgot to mention it. If I use the master switch on the panel, apparently it does not turn on the ALT (alternator) or GEN (generator) because after several minutes my electrical system goes dead, having drained the battery. If I use my key assignment for the master, this does not happen. This could be due the way I have saved my default flight, but shouldn't the master switch turn BOTH on, since it isn't a split switch as on newer aircraft?

Otherwise, thank you Alabeo for the quick response in fixing the other issues, much appreciated!!

JCH

Addendum: I tried to submit this as a ticket but their stupid verification robot won't let me verify, it just keeps giving me more pictures to click. I gave up. Apparently they don't want to hear from me anymore.

Bought also.

I like classic GA.

The next bug in 1.1:

j3kwbsj.jpg

Oil temperatures - the needle doesn't work.

For near 200 F must be something like here:

GXA1WUGm.jpg

Carb Temp the same - always on yellow position.
