Aircraft Shadows at Night

I’m trying to tweak my PTA settings to eliminate annoying aircraft shadows at night (VC and exterior).  Short of making the ground and VC nearly pitch black via terrain and VC moonlight settings, which seems to be the only method I’ve found, does anyone have suggestions on settings to eliminate or even just reduce being able to see my own aircraft shadows at night?

If it can't be done in PTA then maybe, for the night-time sessions, you'd have to resort to disabling the cast/receive shadows for the user aircraft in P3D <??>.

That's what I'm asking; if it can be done in PTA or if anyone has suggestions for PTA settings that may reduce them.
