Anyone have a good way to contact SSJ? Tried website and Facebook and have had no response. I have the latest beta but don’t have the original email with the key to install it anymore. I already Uninstalled the original beta too.

Hi Shez, 

I emailed a PDF a while back with fixes / things to be added in a later version. Jetway fixes, additions. 

 

They just added 3 or 4 gates to the north terminal. some of the jetways, such as A72/74 are too high and don’t really lower all that much. they are pretty much to the height of a 757 and can adjust for the A320/21. Taxiway B is missing, and the airport doesn’t exactly line up with the charts. some high speed turnoffs are missing off of 4L/22R. There’s just a lot of things that need to be fixed or added to be up to date with the most current layout/charts. I can do my best to get new reference photos as well, but it’s a bit of a challenge as I no longer work at DTW, but can do some parking garage shots  

 

This scenery is gorgeous though, the work is quality, it runs great, looks pretty close to the real thing. y’all did a great job, and with the few fixes mentioned above, this scenery has great potential.

Ive emailed Ian several times with bug fixes etc but he hasn't responded so I have  no idea what their plan is.

Each gate has the appropriate Jetway along with placed ground vehicles to not interfere with scenery objects. Several points:

 - Terminals D and C AFCAD files do NOT match the gate information for the terminal marking's, so, I ignored the AFCAD information and placed jetway markings to match the actual gate number

 - One of the gates in Terminal D doesn't have a jetways (either 21 or 23 as I forgot) due to a duplication in the AFCAD file forcing one of the jetways to teleport on top of the other duplicate on each restart of P3D

 - Terminal C was quite difficult to find suitable jetways for such tight spaces, so several gates may seem awkward (if you edit something which works better, let me know :))

 - Several gates in the ADFCAD for Terminal C were missing, so they don't have jetways

 - The North end of Terminal C has been modeled as still under construction, so I didn't make any jetways for them

 - Please read the given READ ME text file for installation instructions, as it is required to remove the old SODE jetways

 

I hope you all enjoy this, as it took me many hours over the past couple of days with 100+ gates to work on.

Also, If anyone has any feedback or edits (either to fix the AFCAD file or GSX profile), they'd be greatly appreciated as this was my first full airport profile in GSX v2

If the scenery afcad wasn't so offset by one gate each, A72 in GSX parks you at A74

Send me the PDF. As I have said before it is Ian who has the final project file so the entire jetways network with SODE are with him. I can adjust things like AFCAD etc. but not much more.

I have assets for X-Plane 11 ready such as vegetation, ground textures with PBR, orthophotos & much more. And i was wondering if you would want me to convert it over to X-Plane as a freeware scenery for the community?

In SunSkyJet forum I see many post where people donated but say they do not get the beta software.

Why is that?

I am in KDTW area and interested in the KDTW scenery.

How much is the (e.g., expected) donation ?

Is it still currently possible go give a donation and promptly get the Beta download and use?

 

If the beta is later updated do the current beta holders automatically get the new beta download link or do they have to formally request it again and say they already donated once before?

After a pilot donates for Beta KDTW is the download link supposed to be automatic ?

Why are pilots posts in the SunSkyJet forum unanswered on this ?
