Recommended Posts

Hi Steve,

These are for you, headed around KCPR a bit to try her out and she's a beaut!

As an unapologetic Fr8 Dawg you know I'm partial to the cargo haulers. Thanks for these great paints and all your work through the years. It's greatly appreciated!

Thanks Gerald!

Great shots but there is only one minor problem....I didn't paint that one.

The real-life Fr8 Dawg painted it....Brian Thibodeaux. 🙂

We both love the NWA freighter, but he called dibs on it....and I had my hands full with a few other paints, hehe.

I did get to do the Cathay Cargo in metal (and white), the the JAL Cargo "Silver Bullet" I just released today....just waiting for you to continue your Pacific runs. 🙂

@gsand Awesome! Thanks for posting a screenshot.  Not often I get to see my work fly!  Thanks @Steve Dra 😁. To Steve's credit, he taught me pretty much all the tricks I know.  When I met him I was like "OOOH COOL LAYERS ARE AWESOME!" Barely scratched the surface.  word not allowed more like just looking at the surface at that point.  Anyways, Steve also made a very MINOR contribution to they paint and provided the metal layer. You know, the easy stuff.  😏

Great camaraderie, guys! Of course, I knew, if it's a 747, Steve would probably have a hand in it...no matter how many Bizjets (or Props) he flies otherwise...🙂....

Lovely and fitting paint for the NWA Cargo!

Great shot, too, punching through the dense clouds!

Great looking set of the NWA freighter. I worked for 7 years at KMSP in NWA'S cargo.

@thibodba57 Apologies Brian! Red face and all that...😱. Seriously outstanding effort on this paint, you two really nailed it.

@Steve Dra You two make a great team! Grabbing the CP now, will post a few later today. Thanks again.

Hehe....haven't sat in the pilot's seat of a bizjet or my beloved TBM since this project started....I may have forgotten how to fly!😨

Great to hear....our own Library Manager Brian Neuman did a stint at NWA, over on the pax side though.  Sure miss the bowling shoe and older liveries gracing the skies....freakin EVIL Delta!!!  Never warmed up to the final Silver livery.
