Tutorial for Shifted Modes

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if there is a tutorial that shows how to setup the Shifted options in Linda.

I'm a bit of a numpty on these things and at the moment I am at a standstill as to how to make use of the additional functionality beyond the unshifted.

Thanks

Please read the release notes included with the LINDA 3.0.9 download. This gives a detailed explanation of the Shifted Modes.

Upgrading to 3.0.9 helped.

I was close to having it nailed but the notes re-affirmed I was on the right track - just needed to change the focus from the Linda assignments screen to P3D and remove a button conflict and everything else fell into place.

Thanks

Unfortunately, I don't have the 3.0.9 download, as I've only started at 3.0.12, so I don't have those release notes. So where can I find them, please?

Apologies. The latest release notes are available here.

Thank you for providing the link to the release notes, and especially for this reason:

Note: Saitek Pro Flight Yoke users may find that the Mode Switch (right-hand front top
selector switch) is not visible to LINDA due to problem with Saitek driver software. To solve
this issue go to ..Windows\System32 and search for SaiD0BAC.pr0 and rename it
SaiD0BAc.pr0.off.

I've been struggling for months to fix that problem. I've emailed Logitech support (what a laugh there); I've posted on multiple forums (which, I'm ashamed to admit, did not include here. In my defense, though, by then I was disgusted with the lack of replies, and had given up fixing it).

I cannot begin to thank you enough for your help!
