FSX-SE New on FSX Steam

Hello Everyone.

I have been flying FSX for many years and found that Win 10 doesn't like it too much.  I am now working with FSX Steam and it is much faster, EXCEPT when you go to simulation rates above 4.   Then, it bounces all over the place.  I have been looking here in the forum for someone with the same answer and maybe it's me, but I can't find an answer here.  I would be extremely pleased if someone could answer that question.  Thanks in advance

FYI to all: 

Almost all aircraft bounce in FSX-Steam above 4x simulation EXCEPT current payware aircraft from PMDG, and several other developers - I surmise the reason is that payware have new model configurations which allow for higher sim rates(?).  (PMDG actually has higher sim rates as one of the FMC options).

If you mean the default aircraft (or add-on aircraft that uses the default FSX autopilot), you max fix this bouncing by adjusting the following in the [Autopilot] section of aircraft.cfg:

max_pitch_velocity_hi_alt=    0.3

As always, backup before doing any changes.

I have been working diligently to try to fix the problem.  First of all, I am not a programmer.  However, I have located ALL of the aircraft.cfg files.  I have tried to adjust the section that you told me to, but 2 things happened.  the add ons went haywire.  when I opened up FSX after making the 'fixes', I must have done something wrong because they all said that there were duplicates of all the planes that I had worked on.  So, I did what I thought I must do and uninstalled and then reinstalled the add ons.  I had no problem with the built-in planes because I only touched the add ons to see if it would help.  I'm at my wit's end.   Thank you Luis Hernandez for your help.

If you made backups of whatever you changed, did you delete the backups afterwards?

I realize that it's doesn't provide any help fixing the bouncing issue, but I do know that the iFly 737 documentation specifically states that it won't function correctly above sim rate 1. 

It's possible that some of the other add ons have a similar limitation.
