Feelthere Airbus at Steam vs Wilco Airbus... are the same?

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I see this bundle in Steam:

https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/6161/FSX_Steam_Edition_Airbus_Series_The_Collection_Vol_1_4/

Judging from the screenshots and videos, the Feelthere Airbus bundle offered by Steam is similar (or based) on the Wilco Airbus series we all know. However, I can't identify the differences against the current Wilco Airbus, either Evolution or not. Apart from the fact that Steam divided each volume in 2, are there any other differences or "improvements"?

Asking either Steam or Wilco will give no results, sadly 😔

There is NO difference; people spoke as if Feelthere and Wilco were the same company.  However, the latter was the distributor for the formers product line.  The real question is why are you considering this decade old product when newer ones (e.g. Aerosoft) are available?

I guess; there's really no good 340 options.  Have you looked at the BlackBox version?  I don't recommend it (i would never recommend ANY BB product); however, it might be worth a look if you really want a 340. The other option is the JustFlight/CLS version, which is a 'lite' simulation...this version is 12 years old tho.

Have you read the reviews of the Wilco Airbus Series on the Steam website? The majority of users would not recommend this product and most reviews on other vendor’s websites such as SimMarket are similar.

The majority of the Wilco/Feel There aircraft which I have purchased for FSX have been a disappointment and most have now been relegated to my FSX boneyard. The only better quality Feel There product which I have, the ERJ135/145 V2, was a disappointment in a different way as it did not come with the “free liveries” advertised in the product description and shown in the product screenshots. As they were also listed in the ERJ V2 manual that came with the download as being “included liveries”, I decided to contact Feel There. They replied that these liveries were no longer included but that livery bundles could be purchased from McPhat Studios which not surprisingly seems to be part of the Wilco/Feel There group! Although Feel There might otherwise have rehabilitated themselves in my eyes in terms of product quality with the ERJ, their blatantly misleading advertising and their response has left me with a bad taste for this company.

Exactly same for me too. Today, you'd have a job to sell me any feelThere product.

Well, I'll be honest. I had already these planes since 2011 (I purchased them for FS9, but the installers for FSX and P3D1 to P3D3 are included). In my innocence, I was hoping that this "new" offering would fix some of the issues (like the tendency to do circles in cruise over 4x, or the CTDs on exit or when using WXR).  Judging from your replies, there are none. Bummer...

I also have the Aerosoft A32x (purchased via Steam), but my rig is not powerful enough for flying it... specially since it has no 2D panel (I'm a 2D-saur).
