How to enable the red labels at top left P3Dv4

How do I enable the red labels at the left upper screen in P3D v4(speed,frame rate,fuel...)

Does Shift+z do anything for you?  If not, then have you checked the P3D.cfg for show info text=1

Is there a way to keep the labels showing up each time I start the sim?

Have you tried saving your startup scenario with the label showing?
