July 21, 200619 yr I got an email about preordering FSX and it wasn't the first time. I really think that if they start taking orders for it we are entitled to know the hardwarerequirements for it. That it should run on broad range of computers is to vague. As I see it I can't be sure it will run on my machineAthlon 64 3200+GeForce 6600GT 256M1 Gb DDR RAM 400 MHz160 Gb SATA driveWin XP Home
July 21, 200619 yr I don't know any more about the system requirements of FSX then the next man but I would eat my hat if your system doesn't run it.
July 22, 200619 yr It will run on most systems, just depends on where your sliders are at. Since when where the system requirements on the box ever realistic, LOL.Just do like I do when I get a new version, install it, turn all features/sliders on full ....and then decide what hardware ya need, LOLRegards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/tfbeta.jpg Best, Michael KDFW
July 22, 200619 yr That's an easy answer.Pentium III or greater processor running at at least 500 Mhz256Mb of EDO RAMand at least a 32Mb videocardYou may think I am joking, but I will probably not be too far off of the mark to what will be written on the side of the MS packet.RH

With recommended and optimal we get a low estimate of the minimum.>Just do like I do when I get a new version, install it, turn>all features/sliders on full ....and then decide what hardware>ya need, LOL>Issue is for me not what I need but what I already have since I can't afford additional costly upgrades.
July 22, 200619 yr >That's an easy answer.>>Pentium III or greater processor running at at least 500 Mhz>256Mb of EDO RAM>and at least a 32Mb videocard>That's almost exactly the requirements for FS 2004. The need for CPU power has increased with 10% and the memory requirements has doubled

July 25, 200619 yr How about a 600Mhz P3...I am sure you guys will give us a product we will really enjoy. I say that because FS9 is very close to being where I want it. FSX will probably prove to be much better (over the long run).RH
