Sound issues in P3D v4.4

Recommended Posts

Since I upgraded to P3D v4.4 last week, I have noticed that my aircraft engines sound a bit strange for a few seconds after the plane is loaded, and then settle down to normal. This happens (as far as I can tell) with all of the aircraft that I have installed (default and payware). Has anyone else noticed this? It was not an issue in P3D v4.3.

Adding the "time_constant=0" statement to the SOUND section of the Prepar3d.cfg file seems to have solved this problem.

Thank you!

Thanks for this. I'd given up on ever solving this problem.

At first I thought that it was a problem with my saved P3D v4.3 scenarios not being fully compatible with P3D v4.4. Thank God that the solution was a simple fix!
