Note the Ryzen 3850 rumor -- 16 Cores, 4.3 base freq and 5.1 turbo ($499) or the 3700X -- 12 cores, 4.2 base freq and 5.0 turbo ($329).

If this turns out to be true, could be an interesting year for those of us looking to upgrade.

Very interesting, im about to pick up a 2600x and a b450 mobo, with the idea that i can easily swap to the ryzen 3000 when it comes out and sell the 2600x for a little bit hmmmm...
