Can't see aircraft symbol when remotely connected to X-plane

Recommended Posts

Little Navmap woks perfectly on my remote laptop when connected to P3D v3 on my PC but when I try to connect to X-Plane, the status bar reports "Connected" but there is no aircraft symbol.

I've got Little Xpconnect installed and Little Navmap works perfectly with X-plane when I connect locally on my PC.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong please?

Many thanks

David

Hi David,

not sure what is missing but you have to use both the Xpconnect plugin and Navconnect on the flying pc. Also, select X-Plane in Navconnect, otherwise it uses P3D by default.

What log messages does Navconnect show?

Alex

There's no option to switch to X-Plane in Navconnect for some reason.

I've installed the XP Connect plugin into X-Plane and it shows up as installed on the menu.

All's ok now. I realised that I hadn't got Little Navconnect installed in its own folder outside Little Navmap. As soon as I did this I got the option to switch it to X-Plane!

Thanks for your help

David
