Cologne to Tbilisi

Recommended Posts

Hi,

this is the follow-up to my Atlantic flight, as I proceeded from Cologne to my home-airport-in-choose, Tbilisi. The first picture shows no Tu-134, but a German Air Force A310 as a tribute to this legendary plane - one of those which were purchased still by GDR's Interflug and passed to German Air Force. It is always interesting to rediscover what one's AI traffic is good for.

Now this is my Tupolev shortly after taking off, showing the view towards Bonn:

After flying over Hungary and Romania, we have to cross the Black Sea:

We arrive at the Turkish coast over Trabzon...

Harald: Very nice (follow-up) travelogue sequence, with the usual touch of nostalgia!

Please also note I expanded your 1st picture (and your historical comment therein) into an independent post I submitted. Hope you enjoy it.

Is this a payware plane?

It's freeware: https://www.avsim.su/f/fs2004-aircrafts-40/scs-tu-134-2-0-original-59825.html

Nice that you enjoyed there; a view towards Cologne Zentrum was showed in my last post.

Nice to see the GAF A310. I'm thinking of fixing one up myself. Love your flight story as always Harald.

To be honest, the video you pointed me to some weeks ago (GAF to Tbilisi) did not only inspire me for this flight but awaked my interest in the A310, too. I'm thinking of buying the CLS model. Or can we hope that TDS gives us one... Thank you for commenting!
