Very nice aircraft, plan on getting this aircraft in about six days or so, I have long awaited it for Xplane11, have never went wrong with anything I have purchased from VSkylabs....

It is just a pity the real Icon A5 is priced way above what Light Sport was intended to be, and has had two fatal crashes so far.  I do not know the cause though, whether it was aircraft or pilot training since LSA's training I feel is too short, just as my CFI was in a rush to solo me after just a few flights, so I backed off, feeling I was unprepared to solo from a controlled airfield.  My piloting skills were OK but my reaction times with ATC, which is not required for the most basic light sport training, were not I felt.  I never had problems landing at uncontrolled fields once I learned to work the throttle to my CFI's satisfaction.

The current exceeds well over a quarter million dollars although for Bush flying it is nearly unbeatable.  However a used Cessna with floats can be had for less, and only requires a GA ticket.  If I had the money though, an Icon A5 parked at Lake Pleasant would be my dream ride, lol!
