I'm a little short of cash at the moment

Featured Replies

Yeah, and I’m also short of a plane at the moment. I'm in New Zealand right now and plan to start a small shuttle service. Fortunately I’ve found a plane that was for sale quite cheap. I bought it over the internet, but I’ve only seen pictures, not the plane so far. But the owner said it is in good condition, maybe a minor paint job here and there. The guy I bought it from said it’s parked outside at Te Anau airport on New Zealand’s South Island. That's great, because I love the South Island. He said it had been decontaminated and even had a brand new cup holder. Hhmmmhh…I’m not sure what this all means, but I need a plane, as I have just accepted to ferry tourists from Queenstown to Mt. Cook.

Only a minor paint job????

What did he mean by “decontaminated”??? And where is the new cup holder?

Cessna-310-R-8.jpg

For some reasons, the engines did actually start and the instruments appear to work too. But I think the nacelles will fall apart any minute

Cessna-310-R-10.jpg

Anyway, there is no time to loose, let’s head for Queenstown

Cool, I survived. I'm in Queenstown. Now I only need to locate my pax

Cessna-310-R-102.jpg

You know, what’s strange, none of my pax wanted to board my plane. They even threatened to sue me. Maybe I sell the plane again. I can see there in the distance a few large trucks. Maybe I can buy one of them and start a trucking business. Some of them must be cheap. You know, I’m a little short of cash at the moment…

So what? Engines are running, seats are made from leather... People are very demanding these days.

May it be that the plane played a role in a major crime? Look at the sprayed red colour at the left side of the nose. Bloody.

But the spinners are polished.

Brilliant story! Thanks for posting.

The plane's decontaminated eh? Well decontaminated of any incriminating body parts I guess!....

I'd say that paint and interior won't get the aircraft sold on Barnstormers, lol!

  • 2 weeks later...

Great pics and story, thanks for the post. The plane looks like it came straight outta Fallout 4 😄

Be careful where you dump that thing...
