Crash when assigning certain joystick buttons

Recommended Posts

Hello

Just done a fresh re-install of Windows/P3D, the lot.

Now when configuring Chaseplane (.32 Exp or Non-Exp - same), I can assign joystick buttons and axis to view OK, apart from just a couple of buttons on one of my controllers (buttons 1, 2 and 3 of my T16000M). It gets into an endless loop of "Something unexpected happened".

I have screenshots and a log file, but no idea how I attach on Avsim!

Rob

Update - in fact it seems to be only buttons 1 to 4 of the T16000 that cause it, but not the POV or buttons 5+.

My XBOX controller can have its axis assigned, and some buttons, but again not buttons 1 to 4 and also not any of the 4-way POV buttons. Same issue happens. Note that this was all working nicely before I reinstalled everything on my PC this afternoon.

I have pasted part of the log file where things start to seem to go wrong:

Then it repeats the above line lots more times
