RC4 with Global Traffic

Recommended Posts

Good morning,

For many years I've used RC4 in FSX successfully with Just Flight's Traffic 360.

They are now offering an upgrade discount to their new "Global Traffic".

Is there any reason to suppose that RC4 won't work with the new version, please?

TG.

None that I can see. I use UT Live and RC4 works fine.

Thanks, Ray.

It's such a new product that I might be the first to try it with RC, so I'll report straight back if there are problems.

It just uses standard traffic.bgl files, so I can't TG having a problem with it either.

The only problem I have see with some of these packages is they do not render traffic soon enough for FSUIPC to report to RC especially parked aircraft ready to effect departure patterns.

That's probably the situation with Ultimate Traffic Live as it generates traffic that way rather than with BGL files as was the case with MyTraffic.

I just tested injecting bgl and simconnect+plan ai and all start at the same time.

So the delay must be collecting schedules from the internet or some other delay forced onto the sim somehow.

Thanks again to everyone for your help.

I'm still waiting for Just Flight to come back to me to say how I'm going to get my £3 discount.

Well, I am a TG!
