Wide Body Sim Development Announces A350 XWB

Recommended Posts

It's definitely an Aprils fool joke. Any serious developer with such a massive announcement in the flightsim world would never do so on April the 1st. An obvious wind up.

A news too good to be true appearing like that out of the blue on april 1st.

As much as I want this to be true this has to be an april's fool joke.

Very interesting..!!

If it's an April fools joke, it's certainly an elaborate one, and it seems unlikely anybody would go to all that trouble for a joke, but who knows.

Anyway, it's at least a year away at minimum, but it's good news all the same IMO if it proves to be genuine.

FlightSim.Com already reported about it yesterday: https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/content.php?19201-Wide-Body-Sim-Development-Announces-A350-XWB

I had already heard about them somewhere. Nice to see they are still doing it (unlike MD and his A380). Looks nice, I'd say in between AS and QW, that range. One nice feature it has, is acars. I dunno if this will be implemented or if it will just be a random image but adds something to it. It also features HUDs. While we don't have in-sim renders, I think this will be a nice addition, if the price stays let's say under the 120USD range.

Was this developer making an A380 and stopped?

April fool jokes are usually tongue in cheek and not meant to be taken seriously. This seems on the surface to be serious, but we shall see.

who pay one year for a domain just for a joke, it could use those free website like winx.

But the task is huge and pretending to release in mid 20 is completely out logic.

minimum of 3 years, for a project like this, mostly code on those screens.

Honestly I don't think so... well, it could be - but the domain has been active for about a month and other people have reported this develops announcement before April 1st...

But then again, if something's too good to be true - it probably is...

I guess, we'll see...
