WX RADAR & FPV doesn't work.

I have PMDG 738 NG installed in PREPAR3D and the WXR doesn't show any weather conditions. The question is: they should work?
The other problem I have is with the FPV, they are not working either. Same question.

The weather radar will only show echos, if there is precipitation.

For the weather radar, have you checked the brightness knob? Item #3 on FCOM2 page 10.16.8 for the captain, and item #2 on FCOM2 page 10.16.9 for the first officer. 

The FPV, on the other hand... Is the entire HUD blank or just the FPV part?
