What a great option! Quieter than the NH-D15, despite fan at 2000 RPM. No RAM clearance issues and cools within two degrees of D15.

Will be interesting to see what the new version of the D15, in development now, can achieve. 

To be honest, I don't see the point in opting for the D15, if the NH-U12A performs so well. It's more expensive, but a smaller footprint in your rig.
