Pause at Van Nuys R16R is gone in V4.5.

I wonder if this apparent improvement in behaviour of the sim could be related to or a consequence of this positive change:

While trying to track down the cause of such pauses I noted the restriction of active scenery to that necessary for a particular flight scenario was quite effective in reducing these pause events. Something I would rather avoid having to do in the future. If v4.5 delivers in this regard then that’s to be welcomed and may provide some confirmation that LM were listening to us after all!

As best I know, Orbx has been talking to LM.. maybe that tipped the scale..

What is the best way to disable various active sceneries nowadays?  Via Lorby's Add-on Organizer?

Some are installed via xml method and others, I guess the old-fashioned way.

Hi Rhett,

Without any shadow of doubt, yes! I regard P4AO as being an essential tool. During the lifespan of v4.4 Oliver has identified and corrected several deficiencies in the way Prepar3D has been handling things. I’m hoping his valuable input will now be reflected in v4.5.
