Wow surely I thought the real airport would have beat the virtual one! The real one's opening was just delayed again to nothing more specific than "Fall" 2019.

Hi there,

I just purchased 1.1 version and my performance is not good. I'm getting about 25 fps on the ground with weather. It doesn't matter if I change my display settings, this one is not performing well for me, will have to do more testing. Could this be an issue with 1.1, since 1.0 appeared to be good on performance?

If you were using live weather I think the weather itself was more the cause of bad performance. When I looked in one direction my performance plunged due to some heavy clouds and thunderstorms in the area.

When you factor in dusk/shadows, heavy clouds, PBR ground textures, dynamic lights, non-lite aircraft addons performance is going to struggle somewhat. I think most of the time performance will be ok, but dynamic lights always cause a plunge.

The configurator does have some options to toggle to improve performance.

FWIW, performance has been excellent for me, but I have not tried any heavy weather or night/dawn/dusk conditions with dynamic lighting on.

Updated to v 1.1 and did not experience any issues fps. That's with everything enabled in the CP and 75% AI.

Just to test, disable DL and see if fps go back up. If they do, re-enable DL and see if fps remain high. DL still has a detrimental effect on some systems.
