no traffic wsss?

Hi there,

I'm wondering why I can't get any traffic at the gates or sometimes flying in and out of WSSS in 4.5.  I had this problem in 4.4 too, and it's the only airport that I have problems with.  I downloaded the xml to see if that helped, but still no luck.  I point the parkposgenerator to wsss (not ending in scenery), but it doesn't detect it.  Any ideas?

Well the P3D stock airport WSSS.xml is available in the default installation_airports folder. I have no problem getting live and parked aircraft there in P3Dv4.5

Could you post your Log.txt file of a session in which you have your user aircraft navigated to WSSS?

It's the imaginesim wsss.  I deleted the xml for wsss that I found in this forum, regenerated everything, and it still doesn't work.  Says "no positions" in psxseecontraffic.

You seem to be at airport XWSS instead of WSSS ...

The airport file XWSS.xml for an airport called  "WSSS Dummy" does not contain parking positions.

Is the path you are using in PPG correct?

I'm parked at wsss.  Imaginesim's wsss.  So, what do I need to fix?

Ok, so I deleted xwss and the traffic started to show up at wsss.   but only in cargo area.  No gates have aircraft.  I changed the afcad to gate small, medium or large, and still no aircraft park at the gate.

I have this problem at imaginesim wsss and also latinvfr ksan.  i don't know what I'm doing wrong:-(

Hi John,

I thiink I know what went wrong. The file you took from the Forum is too old, it has no airport latitude/longitude info, so it is not recognised as possible parking airport.

I have modified the file for you. Download wsss.zip, extract and put the file wsss.xml in C:\ParkPosGenerator\airports 

Important: delete wsss.xml from PSXseeconTraffic\parked_updates  (if there is one).

Then start P3D, PSXT and RT, if you see the word ImagineSim in the status line of PSXT, all is ok.

Sorry for my late reply.  Everything works perfectly now, thanks so much for the update.  Can something similar be done with latinvfr's ksan?  For the moment, this is the only other addon I have that is giving me trouble.  Man, when are you going to make this payware?  This keeps getting better and better!

I downloaded and installed WSSS.zip file posted here in this topic for imaginesim WSSS scenery in prepar3d V4.5, I see the traffic all over misaligned to jet-ways,

and some AI traffic is are parked halfway into the terminal.

What step is required to fix Imaginesim WSSS airport traffic display with PSXseecon traffic in prepar3d V4.5.

Hello,

I put WSSS.XML file into PSXSeecon\parked_updates, no traffic is displayed, moving this file out into Park Position Generator airport files folder, then I see traffic , but it is displayed as mentioned in my earlier message .

Hi,

Thx for your Log file. Everything looks good. You have some live traffic (3-4) and about 39 parked static aircraft.

The parked aircraft, having a callsign ending with an underscore, should have been placed at the exact parking positions....
Live traffic may sometimes follow strange routes besides the taxiways.

I don't understand why it is different in your sitation. It worked well for the thread starter. 
Do you really see the Imagesim WSSS airport? You are not accidentally at the stock WSS? 

Have you tried other airports? Is all ok over there?
