Are you Vista ready?

It says my computer can handle vista. Doesn't matter as I am getting a new computer anyways.

No. It says my Commodore 64 is Vista ready. :(I'm upgrading most of my PC when FSX and Vista approach anyway. I want a Conroe, 4GB RAM, DX10 GPU, and a nice new 24" monitor. :) And some new speakers. Mine suck, and I need good 5.1 for this!But, it also says it's ready for Vista Aero... I thought Aero required a DX10 video card to work correctly. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I've understood up until now...

The Aero feature of Vista "only" requires a fully-compliant DX9 card with a minimum of 128MB. Now if they will only include some means of measuring the desktop theme framerates....Doug
