Caribbean preset?

Hi guys,

I fly a lot of GA flights in v4.5 in the eastern Caribbean (think St. Maarten, St. Bart's, etc.). I was really pretty dissatisfied with what I could do with REX4 as far as getting it to look realistic, so I picked up PTA 2.66 just now. Does anyone have a preset that they think is good for the Caribbean? I would SO greatly appreciate it!

Not specifically designed for the colouring around St Maarten, but developed & tested around NZ/AUS so it may fit the bill - worth a try at least:

Is there a detailed user guide for PTA? I find little on their website about the tweaks and the possibilities.

your 2.66 presets are disabled so no way of downloading it to try. It says TBA

I'll rectify that shortly! I was waiting for the final fixes from Matt before publshing it .... then I got sidetracked!

Ah, ok....wasn't sure I can use 2.63, I am definitely struggling making this working....I will try few more things before I abandon this shader games completely and get back to vanilla. Either too dark or clouds are black, or everything gets crazy green....Airbus interior cockpit is blue and can't be green...LOL.

You're not alone!  I too fly a lot in the Islands this time of year....and getting the palette right is a complicated task.  

 

I tried Adams 2.63 preset with P3D45 and PTA 266, but it does not render some add-ons correctly (TJSJ from LatinVFR).  I also tried the EnvShade and the 'tropical water' is waaaay too neon green.....
