Integrate WX Radar in PMDG MD-11?

Hi guys I hope to post in the correct section.

A simple question: is it possible to integrate Milviz/REX WX Radar into PMDG MD-11, I mean in the Virtual Cockpit between two CDUs (linke in the link)? or at leat create a click spot in the VC?

That is simply not possible. You would have to have the source model assets, a lot of knowledge, and be able to recompile into a new interior model.

You can only install the WX as a popup window.

Thanks so much n4gix, and neither is possible to add a click spot? I've already installed as a popup and recall it via joystick/keyboard shortcut through FSUIPC.

Click spots are programmed in the compiled model (.mdl) file. It is nearly impossible to "add" anything to a compiled model.

You will simply have to use a Shift-number to open/close your popup window.

This is good to know as I was actually thinking of getting a weather radar into the Sky Sim MD-11 V2.0. Thank you.
