Old FSDT ORD

Can someone tell me what the runway configuration is for the old version of ORD from FSDT?  I am tired of waiting on the new one to be released and want to start flying into Chicago.  I know the runways are outdated and wanted to know how that would work with regards to flying online with ATC and how the runways would show up in my MCDU.  So for example, if I was given 27R to land, would that show up as 27L or 27R in my MCDU (the old 27R is now 27L with the current config).  Obviously the newest runways wouldn't show up in the sim, but my guess is that they would possibly show up in my MCDU.  Just curious as to how that would work.  Thanks

These days  ORD is in a state of constant change, but there are AFCADS in the AVSIM library that are a lot more current than Fsdreamteam. Some compiled for P3D v4.

The difference in rwy configuration is that 10C/28C and 10R/28L do not exist in the old KORD scenery.  So today's 10L is the old 10, and today's 28R is the old 28.  Everything else the same.

Also, the DME is missing from the ILS on both 09R and 27L

I added the DMEs and changed the name of 10/28 to 10L/28R using ADE, so there are no naming mismatches, just a couple missing runways.

So are you saying that you can download AFCADS to work with FSDT?  My whole purpose is to start flying into a non default ORD.

Even if you correct the AF file (aka AFCAD), when using 3d party airport the scenery will not change.  The FSDT runways are their scenery. With default airports, what you see is what is in the AF file.

No, instead of FSDT. You would need to uninstall any other KORD scenery or you'd have a mess.

"KORD_P3D4.ZIP" in the AVSIM library is dated March, 2018, about a year old. 10-28C,L,R 9-27L,R 4-22L,R new taxiways, parking from a year ago. I believe as of this writing it is the most current KORD scenery (AFCAD.)

NOTE: This scenery package WILL NOT work with FSDT KORD activated!

Me too, and with the recent announcement of GSX getting worked on too, I wonder how long it will be until FSDT releases KORD V2🤷‍♂️

In the mean time, the new FT KLAS is so beautiful!😁
