>If everything is improved to where 3rd party 'fixes' (i.e.>ashphalt textures, ocean water and color etc) aren't needed,>then what will be left to improve for FS11? *panic*When the features are complete on install then it will be the day I have been waiting for since 1978 and this time around we are REALLY CLOSE!Carmine http://forums.avsim.net/images/wave.gifhttp://img155.imageshack.us/img155/7118/phoenixtp8mg.jpg

Did I see wing vortices effects when the lear touched down?.Also even with the awfull video quality the runway graphic's and complexity are a buge improvement from FS2004.The ground textures.... hmmm not sure whats going on there looks like about 100m per pixel:)John

Yes, good catch on the wing vorticees... Very nice!!!Nice work ACES team!!!! I love it!!! Any word on if there is a "dewpoint" variable in XML or a "relative humidity" variable for being able to switch those effects on or off? I don't need to know now, but am kinda curious if anyone wants to share ;)I would call the video bad compression... There's so much glare from the screen that unfortunately the video is really compressed...

The guy landing that Lear should receive a heavy fine and a licence suspension from the virtual FAA. I have not seen a plane handled like that I handed the controls to my wife.RH

I particularly liked the way the trees outline the fields everywhere in the Red Bull mission. Really looking forward to exploring the new FSX world. There's going to be a heck of a lot out there.Yeah, that Lear driver could have done with the hoops alright.Mike.

>It's great and worth the download!>>Look at the mountain range in the Red Bull segment (at 7min>54sec), it seems to have a very steep cliff. Ive not seen that>in FS9. >>Also, there's a moving truck on the apron (at 7min 45sec).Some screen captures.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/149560.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/149561.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/149562.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/149563.jpg
