xAmbience New beta version 1.04 preview

Recommended Posts

Here is a dawn, day, dusk, night cycle near KDAL using ActiveSky + xAmbience beta 1.04 . The clouds has been improved and they have better "volumes".

I think this is a good example of why i am waiting for x-Enviro and 3d noise generated clouds.

More through cloud shots.  The hit on the FPS is very low.

I think it has a lot of potential, but the repetitive cloud shapes with no 3d volume are a no go for me.

Egad that looks bad (to me anyway). Popcorn clouds with sharp edges, and way too many repeated shapes. I remember griping about too many repeated cloud shapes in SkyMaxx Pro, but I think recent versions have minimized it.

horrible sky and clouds payware, FSX had better skies/clouds years ago.  Love Xp11 but if they don't fix the skies/seasons in XP12....it's a NO BUY
