Bush flying in OrbX Papua New Guinea : Woitape to Tapini

Recommended Posts

A 20 nm flight only as crow flies but the two airfields are separated by a jungle covered massif 😁.

Your videos so far, in the A2A Comanche are by far the only videos I can be bothered to watch rather than the screenshots posted this Forum seem to be awash lately, as you are not only a skilled GA pilot but I love your added commentary lines you add to your videos, I do have that Orbx's Tapini.  Must give it a go landing into one day, if I can be bothered to fire up my A2A aircraft,

Thank you for your comment ! The two PNG sceneries from Orbx are quite well done and interesting to fly with the Comanche and the 182.

Thanks ! The GTN 750 is a great asset when you fly the boondocks. Tapini and Woitape are stored in its map. If an airfiled is not stored, you can enter the coordinates (even graphically if you have a bearing and a distance from another airport) and create a waypoint. You draw a flight plan to stay below 10 K feet with the terrain overlay (you don’t want your passengers to faint) and navigate as close as possible to the line.
