PSXseecontraffic crash - ucrtbase.dll

Recommended Posts

Nico,

Lately I've been experiencing PSXseecontraffic closing unexpectedly with the following Windows error report:

Spoiler

Faulting application name: PSXseeconTraffic64.exe, version: 14.5.0.0, time stamp: 0x5cc2aefe
Faulting module name: ucrtbase.dll, version: 10.0.16299.820, time stamp: 0xe26f28c3
Exception code: 0xc0000409
Fault offset: 0x000000000006b64e
Faulting process id: 0x1f84
Faulting application start time: 0x01d4ffb29783dc9c
Faulting application path: C:\PSXseeconTraffic\PSXseeconTraffic64.exe
Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\ucrtbase.dll
Report Id: b6bc9c46-58d2-4ae0-bf9e-f8b4239938f1
Faulting package full name:
Faulting package-relative application ID:

That I can recall, the only things I've changed to P3D are installation of FFTF Dynamic, FT KLAS (Las Vegas), DD Chicago City X. I flew for a week or so with no problems after installing FFTF Dynamic, and it seems maybe the problem started after install of FT KLAS. It's not something specific to PSX 14.5, as I had the same issue with 14.4. The thing is, I can depart an airport, fly around a while...maybe 10 minutes or so before PSX closes. If I restart PSX and RT, then PSX will run for a while again, and sometimes close, and sometimes maybe not close.

Any ideas?

Kind Regards,

Nico, and Gerard,

Thank you for the help. I uninstalled using DDU in safe mode and installed 430.39, but for some reason I couldn't get NVIDIA control panel to open, so I uninstalled again with DDU and went back to 419.67 and all is well. PSXseecontraffic close with ucrt.dll error has been eliminated.

Gerard,

I see you had problems with 430.53 and are going back to 430.39 - you didn't have any problem with the NVIDIA control panel in .39?

Kind Regards,

No, no problem with the CP.

It really seems that the driver installs itself very easily with some unnoticable errors that are causing ucrtbase.dll to shutdown PSXsT within 10 min .

So no upgrade over the existing driver, even with a clean install , but in Safemode by DDU.

It looks like this problem was caused by a bug in PSXT. Fixed in version 14.13.
