Thank you but I am little confused.

This is the answer I got from PMDG

https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/pmdg-747-queen-of-the-skies-ii-forum/11167-747-400-packages

The MS database engine 64 bit has been installed or by PMDG or by FS2crew...and immediately after I got some issues because the installed vrsion of the MS database engine is 64 bit, whilst I have the 32 bit.

I would like to know if installing the 32 bit versione of the MS access database engine, the RAAS system will continue to work (in this way I will solve also the actual issue opening the MS office products).

PMDG says they do not develop RAAS, and they have  addressed me here.

May you help me?

Hi Stefano,

RAAS for P3D V4 is a 64 bit app.

It requires the 64 bit version of the Microsoft Access Database engine.

The problem comes when some people are forced to keep using the old 32 bit version of Microsoft Office (and the 32 bit version of the Access Database Engine) because they need certain plug-ins that only work with the 32 bit version Office.

So you have to make a choice if that applies to you:

Either keep using Office 32 bits, or use RAAS in P3D V4.

You can't have both.

It's a rare situation since 99 percent of people use the 64 bit version of Office, but it happens.

Good morning,

I installed the 64bit office version.
Office OK.
But P3D did not start. completely mute.
I noticed that even though I had uninstalled the old 32 bit version offfice (before installing the 64bit), the Microsoft Access Database Engine 64 bit (Spanish) module was still there.
I uninstalled it. But still P3D did not start.
I followed the procedure indicated by Prepar3d in case of problems, deleting the 3 directories that connect P3D to the addons and I reinstalled P3D 4.5 client
It worked. P3D is restarted.
I had to "reconnect" the connections with the addons and I succeeded in 90%: RAAS does not appear in the add ons list and I don't see it in the P3D add ons menu.
I tried to reinstall PMDG 747 Queen of the sky
I tried to reinstall FS2crew 747
However in the list of ADD ADD ONs RAAS does not appear and obviously does not work.

What can I do?

Finally the issue has been solved.

I want to thank Byork for his  patiente and availability.

For the users....if you do not see RAAS installed in the add on list in the P3D menu....check if a version of Microsoft Database Engine 64bit has been correctly installed in your Win 10 app list. If not...and you are running MS office 64 bit...you can try to install RAAS again (without uninstalling it). It solved my issue.

And ask Byork to assist you 🙂
